PRODUCTION MANAGER

General Purpose

To plan, organize and control production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.

 

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of production management experience

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of customer service policies and procedures and implement them

  • Coordinate crew(s) to assure quality and efficiency for implementation of projects, within budget
  • Direct Landscape Supervisors to implement project with the highest quality and efficiency
  • Plan a production/routing schedules with Maintenance Supervisors
  • Review and adjust the schedule where needed
  • Conduct weekly production meeting with Landscape and Maintenance Supervisors

 

  • Implement human resource activities, includes hiring and firing of personnel
  • Manage human and material resources to meet production targets

 

  • Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, and modifications
  • Instruct and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to by all laborers
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedure, such as proper equipment/clothing and contacting miss utility

 

  • Set quality standards for project implementation
  • Monitor projects daily along with the quality standards for each project
  • Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
  • Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
  • Determine and implement improvements to the production process

 

  • Prepare and maintain production, maintenance, expense and billing reports
  • Review and monitor all job reporting activity, make correction as needed
  • Monitor and review the performance of production crews and organize necessary interventions for improvement

 

  • Plan, prioritize and delegate maintenance and repairs timeously and cost-effectively
  • Manage production budgets
  • Implement cost control programs, such as dumping of waste and debris

Landscape Designer

Position Description
The Landscape Designer is the main point of contact for our design/build clients. They are responsible for all aspects of managing the relationship including client communication, site evaluation, conceptual design, project estimating, selling the job, project management, job quality, and overall client satisfaction upon completion of the project. The Landscape Designer is responsible for the delivery of outstanding service and strong client relationships while continuing to grow the company’s book of business through new sales/business development.

Requirements
  • A landscape professional with exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • 3+ years of landscape design experience in a landscape designer role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design or Horticultural preferred
  • Articulate in both written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
  • Capacity to make critical judgments, solve problems, and demonstrate careful attention to detail
  • Strong organization and conflict management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Work in a timely manner to accomplish projects within a specified timeframe.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and adequately answer all customer questions

  • Ensure that the scope of work is being performed and that the quality of the work being performed is up to Wewerka standards
  • Identify, propose, and sell enhancement opportunities on existing properties to solve client issues and improve curb appeal
  • Face-to-face selling with homeowners (residential) and mid to senior levels of client management (commercial)
  • Proactively communicate with clients
  • Training, motivating, leading, and evaluating design/build team members
  • Identify new business opportunities by cultivating and maintaining business relationships with existing clients
  • Accurately manage and report sales activity on a regular basis to management

Account Manager

Position Description
The Account Manager is the main point of contact for our clients. A satisfactory performance at this level is indicated by a high renewal rate and an acceptable volume of enhancement sales. The Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of outstanding service and strong client relationships while continuing to grow the company’s book of business through new sales/business development.

Requirements
  • A landscape professional with exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • 3+ years of landscape maintenance experience in an account management role or a similar capacity

Must have leadership capability and demeanor to effectively manage and direct two to four crewmembers. This is a WORKING Field Supervisor position. Maintain a high level of morale.

Train/Educate
